Now it's your turn to be creative. By yourself or with a partner, you are going to write a very simple children's story in the past tense. You can use whatever format you are most comfortable with to create your story. Be sure to include pictures. Follow the criteria and requirements that your teacher has set out for you.

Meet with your teacher with a rough draft of your story (p. 22). This can be done in point form in Spanish. It is just to make sure you are on the right track with your grammar.

When you are ready, you will read your short story to your teacher. Pretend she is a little kid and make your reading dramatic. Be creative. Be prepared for for questions in Spanish about your story when you have finished reading. You will be marked on the written and spoken parts of your story. Bring your criteria sheets with you.
